Ramani received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Otago, New Zealand and her B.Sc. (First Class Hons) from the University of Kelaniya where she was a member of the Faculty of Science. She has held NIH fellowships at Harvard University and at the University of Vermont. She is a leading educator and scientist who is passionate about bringing innovation to education.

Lasantha graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa. He is leading Àkura's product development, product strategy, key client stakeholder management and software quality assurance.

Lahiru is an engineer of the team who plays an important role in developing Àkura.
